Although clubs and societies take up regular slots there are still plenty of opportunities for further bookings.
Occasionally a regular booking ceases leaving a regular weekly or monthly slot available and this would be ideal for a club or association requiring regular meetings throughout the year. For special occasions there are always openings. For example, the costs are well in the range to hold a children's birthday party - making children's games more appealing than in your living room at home! Do you make the best use of the Old Barn Hall? There are three halls - the Main Hall, the Harrison Room at the back and the small 'committee' type Waterfield Room at the front side. The Main Hall includes the stage and holds approximately 120 to 180 depending on the event, the Harrison room could accommodate at least seventy and the Waterfield room perhaps 20 to 30. Both the Main Hall and Harrison Room have their own kitchen and toilet facilities and excellent sound systems with 'hearing loops' for the hard of hearing. The Main Hall offers a good stage and a very large projector screen. If you are interested, pop in and look at the facilities (with excellent parking) on offer. 
Do you realise how cheap it is to hire? The charges vary, dependent on day, time and regularity. To give an idea of the charges, a weekday morning or afternoon for the Main Hall costs only £69 and an evening, £92 - extremely moderate for a hall of that size and if you are an affliliated group considerably less. The Harrison Room can be booked on a Saturday afternnon for £35. The charges can vary from these figures but provide a rough outline. The premises now holds a licence for sale or provision of alcohol so you do not have to apply for a temporary licence. There are few halls where you can have the hall ready laid out for you with chairs and tables.
